What We Believe

Our Authority is the perfect, true, Word of God. The Scriptures contain the Old and New Testament of 66 infallible books. All questions of life can be answered within the Holy Bible.
John 17:17; “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
II Timothy 3:16“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”
II Peter 1:21; “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

All men, women and children are sinners and without salvation will be separated from God forever by eternal death.
Romans 3:23; “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 6:23; “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 5:12; “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

We have no “basic goodness” as many claim and we are all condemned without a Savior. Nothing that we can do (going to church, getting baptized, doing good things to outweigh the bad things) can ensure that we will go to heaven.
Psalm 14:1; “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”
Psalm14:3; "They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
Psalm 53:1; “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.”
Psalm 53:3b; “… there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
Matthew 19:17; “…there is none good but one, that is, God…”
Mark 10:18; “…there is none good but one, that is, God.”
Romans 3:12; “…there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”

Salvation is ONLY thru the completed sinless sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He paid the price (wages of sin) so that we could live. He was promised in the Old Testament with a good description of the promised Savior in Isaiah 53.
John 3:18; “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Romans 11:6; “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.”
Ephesians 2:8-9; “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
John 3:3; “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
1 Peter 2:24; “Who (JESUS) his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
1 Corinthians 15:3-4; “…how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
John 3:16“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 3:28; “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”
Titus 3:5“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.”
Galatians 2:16; “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
Jesus Christ will return soon to rapture the church.
1 Thessalonians 4:17-18; “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Thenwe which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

You can have Salvation. It is absolutely free. You can add nothing. You cannot do it yourself by living the “Christian life” or by living according to a list of “Do’s & Don’ts.” Please consider where you will spend eternity. You can have perfect assurance today of your place in eternity. However, you must understand that the true condition of your heart is marked by repentance (turning away from your sin).
Acts 16:30-31; “…what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
Romans 10:13; “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:9; “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Matthew 9:13; “…for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Mark 1:15; “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
Luke 13:3; “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
Luke 13:5; “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
2 Peter 3:9; “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
